Hey guys!
This weekend I went to Holland as a kind of "last classtrip" with all my friends from school/my year, because this year is our last one. Seeing as we've been on classtrips together every year since Year one, we thought we might as well keep the tradition in our last year.
Additionally, it was my birthday on Saturday and I turned 19. I had a blast of a time, celebrating with most of my friends (minus the English ones) and drunkenly dancing on the beach while eating a huge muffin with a sparkler-like candle on top. And no, even though it was Holland, it was just a normal muffin!
The next day though, the girls got me a "brownie" in Amsterdam. I didn't want to eat it though, so I gave it back to them and they had it. Apparently it didn't even work haha.
I love my German friends to bits and I am now realising that leaving school is going to be a lot harder than I thought. I know it sounds so cliché, but it's true. School was an amazing time and has had a place in my life for 13 years now. I've known some of the people in my class for longer than that and they've all become so important to me, that leaving will be hard.
But that's what growing up is about, I guess. Leaving things, friends and an amazing time behind to start a new chapter in your life with new things, friends and an amazing time.
I can't wait to start uni in September!
Here are some photos I took on the trip. Excuse the quality of some of them, I only brought my camera to Amsterdam and took all the pictures of the campsite with my phone.
