London Trip

Hey,

Sorry for being so quiet recently, I've been really busy with uni work and didn't really have time to take any pictures outside of the projects I've been working on.
But today we went on a study visit to London to see some exhibitions and I actually really enjoyed it. I got to spend some time with my friends, see bits of London I hadn't been to before and enjoy two exhibitions. I wasn't expecting much from the exhibitions, but they were actually quite good and inspiring - even though they didn't inform any of my current projects.

Here are a few pictures:

My friend Abbey showed me this amazing food right here today. A hog roast. Never though a tomato-roll, applesauce, lettuce, rocket and pork would go well together, but they do! So good!

One thing I realised today is that architecture photography is starting to grow on me. I am really enjoying it and am quite happy with the pictures I took today!

Uni Work

Hey,

If anyone happens to want to read about my uni work, my research, shoots, feed back, one-to-ones, workshops or group critiques, head over to my reflective journal!

Time Flies

It's been a month.
I have been here for a month and I love it! This place makes me incredibly happy and it was 100% the right decision for me to come to this country. As sad as it was to leave my friends and family behind, it wasn't difficult at all, because this is exactly what I wanted. Coming to England has been my biggest dream for years and now I am living it! Still can't quite believe it, at points it feels like I am doing another exchange. But no, this is actually my life now and Norwich is my home.

I have made friends with people and everyone is just so nice. I love them a lot already!
Above, you can see some pictures from recent houseparties and meet ups, and even though they are of a horrible quality (I apologise!), I love them.

My course has also been going quite well. The first proper week of it is now over and it was packed with work. They didn't hold back on that, but I think that's good. All of the tasks were doable and even though I struggled a little with one of the texts we had to read, it's all going well. I am excited to see what the next week brings!

Blakeney Point

Today we went on a trip with the Photography and Games Art & Design courses.
Blakeney Point was our destination and seeing seals on a boat trip was honestly so fun! I think I have found my second favourite animal, right behind my number one, the wombat.
After that we did some cyanotype prints on the beach, in little groups. The whole print thing was a bit boring, but hanging out with new friends was fun!
