A Wonderful Day

Hey there,

I apologise for this enormous amount of photos but I just couldn't decide!
Today we went on a trip with the international's, as a nice "conclusion" to the past international's week. It was really nice to meet other people from other countries who have also decided to study in Norwich, at NUA.
First we went to Blickling Estate, a really nice, old and huge house, which reminded me a little bit of Sans Souci in Potsdam or Versaille in France.
Katerina and I had a little photoshoot on one of the benches in the back garden, and I really like the pictures!
After that we went to the beach. The north sea always makes me incredibly happy, because it reminds me of my childhood. So whenever I feel sad or homesick I will go to the beach and it will make me feel so much better instantly.

Norwich at Night

Hey,

here are a few pictures of Norwich at night which I took a few days ago. I am still working on the summer project which uni gave us and so I went out to complete another category for said project. I have done 3/4 photos and have one left to do now - the most difficult one, in my opinion. And I have only got one week left before we have to hand it in...
Let's hope I get that last picture done this week!

A New Chapter

I'm here. In my new home, my new house, my new room, with my new housemates.
I moved in yesterday and I'm so glad I bought so much stuff from IKEA back home because it made it really easy to make my room look and feel cozy really quickly.

Even though the room I have here is tiny compared to my room back home, I like it a lot. It's small, but I'm okay with that and the whole house is just as comfortable and nice as my little space in it.
We still have to get some bits, like a new kettle (the old one here is absolutely disgusting) or a full length mirror or a few pillows for the sofa, but I guess that's normal. Not everything you need/want to have is going to be there when you arrive.

We've also had to do a few very grown up things already, like sorting out the water, electricity and gas and signing up to get Wifi (which we sorted a few minutes ago, yay!). I know it sounds weird to say "very grown up things" but it just feels like that to me, because obviously this is the first time I'm ever doing all those things.

You shall hear from me soon,

Leoni
